It certainly won't bother me any if it isn't them! A lot I have to worry about as a Warren Central fan before we get anywhere near anyone on the bottom of the bracket.  The draw could not have many ways to be worse for Region 4.

Yep, first you have to get out of the region, then take them one at a time, it's a long road.

Here's the bracket filled out using the current rankings from KSR. I used the teams most recently listed in their rankings for any regions that didn't have a team in KSR's current Top 25 and their current list of other teams receiving votes.

Here's the bracket filled out using the current rankings from the Elite 16 poll. I used their current overall list of top 16 teams, and if a region didn't have a team in either the current top 16 or the current list of other teams receiving votes, then I defaulted to using the region-by-region rankings provided by each of the 16 regions' voting media members.

Most of the favorites should win their regions but with that said it never works out that way. ?

The 6th and 7th are always tricky to pick.
The 16th comes down to Ashland and Boyd. In the 14th where I live Hazard has been big favorites the past three years and didn’t win any of them. They’re favorites again this year. Tonight’s Bulldog game at Knott Central will be interesting as the Patriots and Powell Pirates are most likely the biggest threats to knock them out of postseason. Getting to Rupp will be the reward but facing the 6th region, most likely JTown, will be a tough task. Martin is likely to win the 15th but Pikeville could as well. The 11th is tough too, but I feel Madison Central will emerge from that one. GRC will be the favorite in the 10th but Montgomery is capable of knocking them out like they did last year. 

If, the Powers That Be (KHSAA) believe so strongly in the RPI, why do we not seed this tournament and make it better for the fans. Could it be that is the reason the attendance has down been because the Championship game gets played well before Saturday night?

No, actually I think it's just the opposite.  Example, 7th vs 9th in the first round will be a huge draw, 11th vs 12th will also draw a nice attendance.  If seeding is used first round games too predictable, fans will just stay home and wait for the semi's and final.  I speaking from experience.

Ok, when the weekend comes, and we should have our best teams playing on Friday, and Saturday, you have eliminated one from the 7th or 9th, 11th or 12th and have a less than desirable semi or final on Saturday night. I remember when Rupp was packed to the rafters, now the top section is not even open. Most folks work during the week and come up on the weekend, but if I'm not seeing the best teams why spend the money to come watch a blow out?

I understand what you're saying, but I have always went to the whole tournament and watched decent games the whole week.

So that is what the Sweet 16 has become "decent games", when I recall "great games" and "great teams"! Which I'm afraid we no longer have on a regular basis.
