Agreed.  Burgin and DCA would be better off not hosting district either and working out something with one of the other schools where they share gate money or something like that.  I have seen district tourney games at Burgin that aren't full because people don't go thinking it will be too packed to get in.  If it is at a bigger gym more people could go and they would ultimately make more gate money.

Who is the 45th District Host this season?  DCA has yet to host, and from my knowledge has participated in the tournament since 2020?  I would think their turn is coming if they plan on hosting.

I am not sure who is hosting 45th this year.

Ryder Bell was in street clothes for Wayne in this one. I heard an MRI is scheduled for sometime this week. Zach Hutchinson for SW didn't play the 4th quarter and ended up with ice on his left knee.  This game was a lot closer than the final score indicates...the rematch will be something else I'm sure.

Rylan Morgan was fully released from his wrist injury this week that happened in the 2nd quarter of the 1st game of the season. The Cards just can't get everyone healthy at the same time.

It was at Boyle County last year so it should be Danville this year. Assuming alphabetical order is maintained, that would put it at DCA next year, but they don't have the capacity to host and I've not heard any plan for them to use an alternate site (first, there aren't any besides other district schools and I doubt that happens). Assuming that, my guess is its at Garrard in 2026-27 but we shall see.

They don’t have the capacity to host two semifinal games without emptying the gym, and I don’t believe they’re doing that.  Danville and SCS fans better get there before start of SHS and DCA.

My daughter had volleyball practice, followed by archery practice. So we had to watch on YouTube. It was much less crowded, but it would have been so much fun in person.

Aedyn Absher should join the conversation for POY.  Really nice All A Region Tournament for him.  22 PTS against DCA In Semis and 29 PTS in the Finals against SCS, while being the primary ball handler for the Jumpers!  I also seen where Kendall Phillips broke the scoring record for Wayne Co.  Very Impressive.  And, Leek Ateny was unbelievable (Especially late) against Somerset where he drained 3 DEEP 3’s to keep the Warriors with a shot.  The SR. Class is pretty solid this season.  Several collegiate prospects IMO.
