They played in the District Finals in '03 at Boyd Co. They did not play in the regular season that year. So I guess it was '04 the last time Ashland played at RH. I believe they played a home/home schedule that year. They did not play in the regular season in '05 or '06. I hope all that information is correct.

From what I can recall its all correct. I went to a lot of those games and dont remember any being played at Rose Hill. That gym is way too small for those two teams to be playing.

RH defeated Ashland in Dec. of 2001 at Ashland.The next game between the two was scheduled for Jan 5 2002 at Rose Hill.The game was moved to BCHS to handle the crowd.These were both regular season games and were won by RH(the Jan 5th game being the one made famous by the OJ shot).Ashland defeated RH in the finals of the district and region that year.The next year the two teams met in the post season only, with Ashland winning the district and RH winning the region.

and the following year Ashland played Rose Hill at Rose Hill. I believe that was the last time. Rose Hill will play their home game at home next year. The Stew holds just as many as Fairview.

I think that Ashland and Boyd will make it to Morehead. What does everyone else think?

I realize that the vote to seed or not seed can take place each year. What I want to know is if the seed vote today was just for a period of time (like 4 or 5 years or revote each year or whatever) or was it open ended so as to require three to undue the seed.

 

If it is the latter, none of us will live to see the result changed unless the makeup of the district is changed. If that is the case it was not a wise choice by the small school who voted to change the process.

 

I want to know if the 64th District is seeded automatically until voted otherwise. All I want is a definitive answer without hedging and speculation. It is either permanent or it is temporary. Which is it?

Because it has became too easy to predict the results of the draw. Whichever team is the toughest between Rose Hill and Fairview is who Boyd always plays. I really dont understand how that happens every year. Fairview even knocked Boyd out last year. Plus, why doesnt Boyd and Ashland have to ever play in the first game...that should only be fair to Rose Hill and Fairview.
