hsratings.com is very accurate and is the benchmark of rating systems. TP94 being very close adds a lot of credibility to TP94 for me.

As a Mayfield fan this game is shaping up just like last year. BG Poll favoring Mayfield and power rankings favoring Mayfield only difference is it's at LCA this time and last year was one of the worst home playoff loses I can remember. As a fan I am really excited about this game and I will say this. WE need to give the ball to number 4 a few more times as he is electric and looks to be our most explosive player that can truly take it the distance from any where on the field...Truly bright future as a Cardinal...go BIG red..revenge last years loss with a big win.

Since you picked LCA to win why don’t you tell us what LCA has to do to win?

I think I said revenge last years lost go big red....and give number 4 a few more carries he's very explosive...last year is last year and last year I predicted LCA would win as they were cleary better than us and everyone picked Mayfield as I said....although on the road a win for Mayfield this year is possible. Now I do predicted if we do lose it won't be as bad as last year. But you are the one that talked about your own player that helped you win a state championship...not sure what kinda fan does that...

Aww ok you must not liked me saying give number 4 deserves a few more carries because he's explosive...again what kinda fan doesn't like his own player?

What you've got in this game is 2 very good teams that are both capable of winning. IMO, Mayfield was a young team last year with the majority of their playmakers being sophomores and juniors along with a 1st year sophomore qb. This year, those guys are a year older, stronger and more mature. The depth and talent in the newcomers is also improved. Overall, I think this years team is considerably improved. I'm not sure that this is enough to go on a 5 hour bus ride and knock off a great LCA team, but, I feel they have a great shot of coming out on top. I'm confident the Cards will put together some explosive plays and put up some points and I feel their D will be able to somewhat slow down the LCA offense. Hopefully, that will be enough to get them over the hump to come out on top.

If you’ll Read what I said since you picked LCA to win tell us why. Not what Mayfield has to do.

If you look correctly at what I wrote and please do so.. I didn't pick LCA to win..I just said this is very similar to last year in bluegrass preps picking Mayfield to win and power ratings being higher for Mayfield than LCA but we loss and loss bad and give number 4 a few more plays as he is explosive...I never picked LCA to win and nor do I down my own players for whatever reasons.

Sure you did. 10:22 Saturday. You picked Graves County , PT and McCracken also. Who’s not the fan.

I'm not gonna go back and forth with a so called Mayfield fan that bashes Mayfield players but if I did make a pick of a game against Mayfield I would have picked Paducah Tilghman and if I did not only was I correct but by the score I was very correct. Now I will also pick Beechwood if I had to pick as a fan who wins 2A...so hold that against me also because I don't pick with my heart I pick with my head.

Mayfield has a chance in this game. I believe they have one of the best QB’s in 2A and maybe the best running back in 2A plus maybe the best receiving group in 2A. A solid defense that’s been sort of impressive this season. We haven’t been tested as much this season but that’s not Mayfield’s fault they scheduled the teams but some of them have been mediocre. This will be a test all  the way around as LCA has been tested and while LCA has not won all their games they been competitive in all their loses. I look for this game to be competitive and hopefully Mayfield can come out on top.

Now that's what I am talking about for the most part I agree with all your points. I will tell you go look at Beechwoods QB stats and their WR stats and if I am correct one of them have an offer from Notre Dame but back on this game great observation and I respect you opinions now just respect mine..Go CARDS...and I have said as a fan I love this match up along with several other match ups and never get tired this one and never get tired of seeing competition. Good job.

I care very little about overall stats. Beechwood has a good QB and the Fryman kid is a great talent. I don’t think they have the receiving group we have. Beechwood is the team to beat for any team out there. They are the favorite.

Mayfield 28-21.

I’ve said it all year, despite our local pollsters lack of confidence in us, This is a Mayfield team that’s going to be a very very very, yes, I use very three times, dangerous and hard out. This Mayfield team could very well be another Cardinal state champion on the flipside Lexington is as good or dangerous a  team as we’ will face. I like my cards, but I do wear their sunglasses so we’ll see but this is a very good Mayfield team.
