5A Playoffs - Second Round

Atherton Ravens (10-1) vs Jeffersontown Chargers (6-5)

Well, we are running out of games now and this one is one of only 2 on Thursday Night.  Tip of the Cap to JCPS and/or Atherton for moving this game to Waggener who has a brand new turf field!  Nice job!

Jeffersontown has defeated Waggener, Doss, Caverna, Moore, North Bullitt and Seneca.  They were defeated by Rockcastle County, Holy Cross (Louisville), Fairdale, Bullitt Central and Southern.

Atherton has only lost to Manual.  They have defeated Central Hardin, Southern, Mercer County, Eastern, Fern Creek, Butler, Seneca, Iroquois North Oldham, and North Bullitt.

Everything points to another running clock game for Atherton.

Anything else to see here?

My only question is will Atherton play the Regional Final game at Waggener also?

Atherton via running clock.

14-0 Atherton end of 1Q.

This game being streamed?

Anyone have an update?

Have no idea. I doubt it. Atherton on the JCPS streaming bus.

Beautiful new stadium at Waggener High School.
35-0 Atherton at half.
Bless Jtowns heart. They are trying but only have 35 players dressed.
Too cold to stay till the end if BG isn’t in town.
Atherton on to the 3rd Round.

Final: Atherton 41-6
