Final a tough loss for the Cards.

Cal has to feel great after that win. Wild finish.

Cal gets bowl eligible with the win and improve to 6-4 and the Cards fall to 7-2.

Absolutely pathetic. Brohm’s track record with mediocrity is alive and well. This can’t be done consistently or it simply costs as it did tonight. And Virginia lost to Wake Forest too. Louisville could have been in better position. Bad loss, no more and no less.

Honestly, good. I can do something else with my time.

Louisville will finish 7-5, mark my words.

I thought similarly to this. I believe at least two more losses are guaranteed. I didn’t think so before, but I also can’t imagine the ACC bringing more than one team to the playoff this go around.

Clemson may blow us out next Friday. They’re not beating SMU on the road, and UK has found their stride offensively.

7-5 is happening.

I think Clemson is their best shot at a win of the three and Clemson winning wouldn’t surprise me. I agree completely that they won’t beat UK or SMU on the road.

The way college football is now that if you're eliminated from playoff consideration the season is essentially over. Players opt out of bowl games so those are a joke now. Only thing left really is rivalry game with Kentucky to see who the biggest loser is. I was going to have to make a decision to go to Clemson game or St. X game so easy decision now as I'll be going to St. X game.

I had that exact same thought. Zero desire to go to the Clemson game now so I’ll probably be going to a high school game instead.

I feel this sentiment.

This will be the battle of the cynical fan-bases!
