Heard from a very reliable source on the sidelines for Conner that the Highlands coach was dropping profanity all game at the ref’s. Very unprofessional for a high school coach to do that….then at the end he engaged with the Conner player taking the throw in and starting cussing towards the player. Coaches need to do better, I know it’s an emotional game and everyone wants to win but to cuss like that as a leader of the program and then engage with an opposing player as an adult…,I guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too all the time.

I am sensing some type of unnecessary jab towards NCC due to there currently only being 2 teams in the Boys 36th District so they get an AQ bid into the 9th Region.  Yet, when the ball is in play they

8. Any attempt to use or suggest profanity is prohibited. This means you may not use symbols to replace some or all of the letters in a word that might otherwise be blocked by the BGP word filter. Any attempt to circumvent the word filter with general abbreviations or text message abbreviations will also be considered a violation under this rule.

Thanks for @FrankNicodemus for keeping me informed. Heart break on the Hill back to back nights. Girls in OT last night and the Boys tonight. Go Birds at this point.

No problem buddy!  Was rooting hard for the Breds, really tough 2 nights for sure.

The problem is, where is the accountability? Isn't he a Paraprofessional? That means he has nothing to lose but his integrity and the Head Soccer Coach. In order to be better the District has to better themselves. Not sure how you fix that. All Sports are littered with similar coaching situations.

Congratulations to Covington Catholic, they best the Cougars 4-1 in the championship game. The Colonels dominated the midfield and that was the key to the game in my opinion.

Congrats to the Cougars for making it to the regional finals since 2008. That senior led team has a lot to be proud of. The Blue Colonels seem to always be prepared for regional play. Hope the 9th region represents in the state well! Thanks kyag and Frank for the commentary these past few years. You guys do a great job!

It has been a fun ride with these boys. I’ve been watching them play now together for 5 years and reality set in tonight that this is it. Proud of these Cougars and what they have accomplished as a group. Watching my favorite Cougar give his all tonight was all I could ask for as I watched him walk of the field for the last time.

I feel you, the pain hurts…..  I hated watching one of mine walk off the field the very last time in High School…
