I guess I am.Playing you're best on that particular day would never be affected by playing on the court where you practice day after day and spend many long hours shooting shot after shot.I would think that would help me play my best rather than riding a bus for 2 hours and playing in front of a bunch of fans that want to see me lose the game.I am learning about this though press.There is no homecourt advantage the best team won that day because they were the best that day.I do believe playing at home would help the team to play better no matter if they win or lose.

Totally agree, and I believe they are game preparation(scouting plan), playing great defense, making your free throws, good bench play, playing as a team, staying out of foul trouble, having players that can score and defend, unselfish play, being well coached, are just a few things that will make up the best team that night and give that team an opportunity to win in the end.

You can also add playing on your court, your goals and playing infront of majority of your fans to that mix. Oh wait, that's almost homecourt advantage isnt it.

A huge, loud, homecourt crowd, familar surroundings where you practice, no travel time on a bus, etc.. = Home Court Advantage, even if it's only slight.
