I was watching ESPN the other day, and Dough Gottlieb said that he still considers UK a first weekend team, meaning he expects them to lose in either the first or second rounds. This got me thinking about it, and I want to see what some other BGPer's think about this question. For a second lets assume that there will not be a monumental collapse, and that UK will make the NCAA tournament. This thread is juset trying to guage how far everyone thinks they will end up going in the tournament. First round? Second? Sweet Sixteen? Further? Vote in the poll and lets see what everyone thinks.

1) UK is already a lock for the tourney. Even if the lose to UF twice, Vandy, UT, and Alabama - they're still in. I'm sure some wiseguy is going to say what if they lose 9 in a row or whatever, but let's just go ahead and make the statement that that is not going to happen.

 

2) I think this team has the potential to win a national championship and the potential to lose in round 1 to Nobody State.

I think they get past the first weekend. From there who knows, they could get hot and make a run, or they could have an off night and lose.

I think it depends on which UK Team shows up to play each game. These guys can beat the best and get beat by the worst! I hope the light came on after the Arkansas game.:thumb:

Depending on their bracket, I see the Cats making it to the Sweet 16.
