This may not be one that was circled preseason, but it is an intriguing game currently.

Franklin enters this one undefeated like usual. Most recent was a 61-0 shellacking of Shelby County. A lot of kids got touchdowns, and a lot of kids got tackles. Was likely a great game to get everyone in and keep everyone healthy.

The surprising team has to be the Lincoln Co Patriots. After a disappointing season last year which saw them miss the playoffs, they are now off to a 5-0 start. This is Lincoln's last game before they start district play. Are they able to hang around and pull the upset at home?

No, they are not.  I don't see this one being close at all.  It is Lincoln's best team in a while, but it's not enough for Franklin.

I would like to see Lincoln prove me wrong and give Franklin a heck of a game.  I just think it's a very tall order.

Go Patriots!!!

Flyers continue to soar! Franklin with a running clock.

Great start to the year for Lincoln but it won’t matter tonight.

Franklin County 45

Lincoln County 14

With Lincoln having close games with Danville and Eas Jessamine it seems like they would have a hard time with Franklin.

That escalated quickly. Halfback pass for a touchdown, quickly force a turnover, then another touchdown pass with :21 left in the half. Suddenly the Flyers are firmly in control.
