So I finally see the 859 broadcast. I thought it was a fumble but in real time it’s probably tough. On the bad snap the oline does get down field but I can’t tell if they all got back to the line of scrimmage from their camera angle. The play by play guys said at least 4 down field. Obviously that’s a penalty but hard to confirm on the tape.

It’s definitely a penalty and certainly changes the game. Ryle has a chance to get another FG or TD before half w/ getting the ball to start 2nd half. TD puts them up by 10 before half. Ryle scored 14 unanswered points to start 2nd half. That would have been a 21 point lead going into 4Q. Game over.

Ryle continues to have to deal w/ major injuries and obvious game changing bad penalties. They played w/out multiple key starters once again. In addition to the ridiculous no call on the botched punt, the sack fumble no call and the holding call on Anness on last drive was awful too.

Playing w/out multiple key starters the last few weeks have been very frustrating for the Ryle faithful. We all know we are probably undefeated w/ all of them playing but not much we can do about it now.

I suspect they’ll run the table from here until playoffs with ease. The team that handled CovCath (God willing) will be back by playoffs. District foes, be ready for their wrath!

Did # 22 play last week.  As I have said numerous times, the kid is a winner and has a ton of the intangibles that you cannot teach.  His moxy and leadership is unmatched.  Pretty obvious the team ral

I heard from a source, trust worthy or not.....Tayden doesn't do push ups. He pushes the earth down.

That ref crew can come over to my place anytime for homemade meatloaf and taters.  When you perform like that, the door is always open at Karen's house.

I heard Tayden once threw an inbound pass for a homerun, for 3 points and it won the game. Like what, Haliburton?

He’s a great player but w/out that OLine, he gets gobbled up by Ryle’s LB. Give credit where credit is due. Highlands might have the best OLine in the state. W/out them, Ryle wins big.

Tayden can be my starting center and I'm going to go with that if it gives me my best chance to win the game.

Before the ball is even picked up and thrown, center is downfield. At least 1 other was too.

Best line in the state?    Did you see them against Boyle?   How big does their D-Line go?

Ryle is a 6a program with probably the biggest enrollment in NKY , it’s next man up point blank period. Highlands has been without 3-5 starters consistently all season as well including 2 off the o- line and D-line on Friday night, establishing depth is part of being a complete program and by looking at Ryles Freshmen and JV this year they’re really lacking in that department. Ryle will really struggle following this year and to be honest if not for Savage they wouldn’t even have a chance at winning most games this year, yes he’s that good. Hopefully they draw pleasure ridge , and great crossings in the playoffs again. Full of excuses, just like the head coach.

They’ll draw Eastern in the 1st round & more than likely Ballard in the 2nd round; but possibly Oldham County.

Personal? I’m not big on the “a lot of injuries” bc most teams have some or more than  few throughout the year. I thought Ryle coach had a pretty good argument on the punt. That said, up 10 in the 4th and Highlands won.

Not personal I’m just tired of hearing about it after Cooper , then CAL , then Highlands. I like Ryle as a program a lot , just not the way to go in my opinion. I think they’re a good team but regardless of healthy completely or not I don’t believe they’re the team they were last year. I said that in the beginning of the year . I think Lorms has not been replaced , Lee is good (yes I know he’s banged up) but he can’t bail out Verax like Lorms did time and time again last year. As well as Smith off the edge to complement Savage was nasty (don’t even try comparing Gay to Smith either , yes I know gay is injured).
