A major missed call. Coach Engler obviously knew the rule.

He did, and did not look happy. Big swing in momentum there. From a stop deep in HHS territory to 7 points.

Let’s clarify something here.  The problem wasn’t running pass plays versus run plays.  The biggest issue is the design of the plays and complete dismissal of a short passing game that is not a screen

This is a big game for Ryle. As one of the things that helped out on their state run last year, was being ranked 2nd in the RPI heading into the playoffs, which helped them avoid the other top teams i

Touchdown Raiders, they grinded that drive out.

17-14 Ryle with 739 left in the 3rd.

Either team can win this game.

Unless Ryle turns the ball over a few times I don’t see how HHS wins this game. The defense is bad and the offense is worse

Touchdown Ryle, I think that was Savage on the run taking it to the house.

24-14 Raiders with 331 left in the 3rd.

This is men versus boys right now.

It kind of looks a bit that way.  Ryle imposing their will.

Lorenzen at QB, HHS on the Ryle 40.  If the Birds score a TD they are right back in this game.

Roll with 22 rest of the way out if they want to win the game

    Touchdown Highlands!

    24-21 Ryle with 921 left.

Lorenzen visibly gassed and still punches it in.  ?

Birds returned the BIG boy favor.

He chugged on in like a locomotive.

    Touchdown Highlands!!

What a terrible series by the Ryle offense. Birds D stepped up big time to get control.
