Purps start to right the ship - young team - loss of Barber and #2 WR hurt bad, but they have enough depth to ring the bell of Barren County.

42-7 purples

  • If it’s a Barren County game, it’s almost always on BCHS Live on YouTube. They consistently run circles around every other offering. I highly recommend you tune in using their stream.

  • I’ve got to be honest I’m shocked two people picked Barren Co.

  • There's alot of people that don't like BG.

@DragonFire I watched a piece of the Barren County vs Monroe County game and was amazed at how good the game was presented.  From the camera to the on-screen scoreboard (with timeouts left and down and distance and clock) and replays all over the place.  WOW!  Really impressed with this and their announcer knows his stuff and very knowledgeable.  Well done BC!

- This Barren County team was led by Jerry Eubanks, who in 1979 took the Trojans to a 10-1 record and were in the Top 5 in Class 3A.

And missed the playoffs! Franklin-Simpson, who beat Barren County 35-15 in the regular season finale, represented Class AAA-District 2, beating Union County, Montgomery County, and Belfry on the way to a state title.

I don’t think that’s a dig if you only got one playoff spot out of the district and you lost to the state champion who was in your district doesn’t mean you were not a quality team.
