There are currently a few freshman and froshmore/freshmore football leagues in Kentucky (threads linked below), but there are also quite a few programs that are fielding teams that for any number of reasons aren't competing in one of those leagues. Please feel free to add any of the the non-league freshman schedules you might come across and/or add in any talk about the upcoming freshman players for those teams.

Per Arbiter, it looks like Oldham County, South Oldham, and DeSales are all going to be playing each other on the freshman level. I'm not sure if that's freshman or froshmore...Arbiter only has options for schools to input "freshman" and "jv" schedules, outside of varsity. So frequently froshmore gets kind of hodgepodged in between the two.

Manual's game against Pleasure Ridge Park and their game against North Hardin are the only freshman games shown for PRP or NH this season. Same thing with Bullitt East's game against North Bullitt. Those, again, could potentially be some variant of froshmore, since they don't otherwise appear to have any freshman schedule at Pleasure Ridge Park, North Hardin, and North Bullitt.

St. Xavier is currently showing a freshman game against Central Hardin, and Central Hardin doesn't even have a freshman team/schedule listed on Arbiter at all.

None of the JCPS schools play 100% frosh anymore.

Thanks for that, TP94...I'll go back and edit the Male, Manual, and Ballard schedules to "froshmore."

This is true, but I still find it so hard to believe.  I get that some schools simply don’t have the numbers, but struggle thinking that schools like Male, Manual, Ballard, etc. can’t field a total team of just 20 freshmen.  I remember coaching at Doss 25 years ago & even we had a freshman only team (22 kids) & played other freshmen only JCPS teams like Southern, PRP, Male, Manual, etc.  In fact, we played 9 freshmen only games that year, never played the same team twice & never left Jefferson County to do it.  It’s sad that’s it’s fallen off that much.

I am hearing Male only has 20 or so Kids out this year. They have asked to play a Froshmore Scrimmage next week against Highlands Freshman. Highlands has 44 out this year which is about the norm.

Male has 29 freshman on their Hudl roster but still a low number for the size of the school.
