Congrats. That is longevity that we may never see again. It’s also winning at an insane clip. 

CC’s Coach K goes for #1,144 today against Holy cross to tie PRP Miller for #2 in Ky HS baseball victories.  If successful his Colonels goes against the Beechwood Tigers tomorrow for sole possession of 2nd place.  

I know he has been a polarizing coach the last few / many years, but I have a ton of respect for Krumps and always have.  Did it his way, often, I think, to his own peril, but never wavered on what he believed in.  You could read the flip of that and say he failed to adapt, and I think you'd be correct there as well, but on the whole, I think you have to say he did a great job molding young men and winning baseball games.

Big congrats to Krumps!!  I always enjoy those opportunities when we cross paths and can catch up for a few minutes.

Cov Cath beat Simon Kenton on Monday night to put Coach Krumps at 1,144 wins and in a tie for second place all-time wins with the late-great Bill Miller from Pleasure Ridge Park, and last night the Colonels beat New Cath to give him his 1,145th win and as sole-possessor of 2nd place in all-time wins in Kentucky.

Coach Krumps is currently at 6th place nationally among active head coaches, and 14th place nationally, all-time.

There's an error in the graphic...shows John Lowery's record through the 2024 season as the 4th place coach and his updated coaching record as the 3rd place coach. That bumps Coach Krumps up to #14 all-time in the country.

Crazy impressive stats!  And that KY has 2 on the list w Whitaker.   

I’ve got a friend who played for Coach K.

My friend and I are both in our 60’s!

Incredible to have that kind of staying power in an arena (HS coaching) that spits out Coaches regularly.

Coach Krump has gotten some nice writeups in both the LINK and NKyTribune in the past several days for this outstanding career milestone.  I know nothing, but I am suspecting HC’s Mac Whitaker doesn’t retire until Coach Krump does.

? Seems like only yesterday he came to CCH as a baby-faced coach, one year removed from pitching for Xavier University. 

Shaping young hearts and minds for nearly a half-century. Congrats on a fine career Coach!
