I know he had one heck of a team in ‘03.  If the big guy hadn’t gone down for a spell they would have beaten Mason County in the first round at Rupp. 

Dave was a great player for coach Gross at NCC, great coach, and even better person.

I set by him one night at a wedding reception and we talked basketball a couple hours. I really enjoyed it. He's one heck of a nice guy.

Right before the SS started, I asked longtime friend and basketball official John Chamberlain about Mason’s chances.   He said that St. Henry was the biggest obstacle, and he was absolutely right.
