25-6 to finish the regular season sounds amazing! Go Cards! If Smith is back for conference tournament play, they will be a very tough out. I believe they will still be if Smith isn’t playing. AWESOME SEASON!

Cards continue to roll.

How high will they be seeded come next Sunday night?

If they are to win the ACC championship I believe they get a #3. If not, I would say 4 or 5.

Maybe, but history shows us the committee puts very little emphasis on conference tournaments.

I think it would be potentially beating Duke and Clemson for a second time that would bump them up more so than winning the ACC tourney.

I get it. And it makes sense. But the reality is that’s not how it’s traditionally worked. There are some exceptions to the rule, but to jump multiple seed lines, supplanting other locked-in teams is rare.

Outside of the 2013 Championship celebration, this was the best afternoon I’ve ever spent in the Yum Center. What this team has done for the city and for the program is unmatched. Largest crowd in the Yum Center since February of 2020, and these guys deserved it.

As if he weren’t already there, Chucky solidified himself as a Louisville Basketball legend when he kissed the bird as he checked out for the final time. I’ve never had a moment in sports immediately illicit an emotional reaction like that did.

My across the street neighbor went yesterday and he said he almost coded when that happened. He was still on cloud 9 today. What an awesome job Pat Kelsay has done. Congrats to all UL fans.

I seem to recall that Taquan Dean did the same thing on his senior day.  A surefire way to ingratiate yourself to the fanbase.

Such a fun group to watch.  They could definitely be a teach we are watching the second weekend of the big dance.

Absolutely. With the parity in today's college basketball, I believe anyone in the top 40-45 would not be shocking in the round of 16. And if we think UL will be in that 4-6 range, there should be zero surprise. Compare that to where they were 365 days ago, that is the shocking element to all this. With a good coach and the way rosters flip, you can go from pretender to contender over night.
