St. John’s is the outright Big East champions during regular season for the first time since 1985. Rick Pitino knows how to get things turned around quickly.

Good job. First title since 1985 is a crazy stat.

And folks thought St Johns was going to fire Pitino after his love affair with the Pope hire and visit to Lexington in October.

It was probably in Pitino's psychology the whole time to upset his players and everyone to the point they would show Him!  Master psychologist!
