I chatted a bit with Coach Hawkins about the 2025 Blue Devils and he told me he has unbelievable support and resources, and he has several kids weightlifting every day.  With that said, Henry Clay is coming off a 1-10 record in 2024.

We will see some improvement under year one. My concern is that it may be a slower process at Henry Clay for Coach Hawkins. This one is a major overhaul and he is the man for the job.

I see an 8 win season, and a strong chance at a district championship. 2nd round playoff exit.

Where do you think the two losses come from?

North Oldham & EITHER Hendo or Creek. North Oldham is usually pretty capable on offense, and being the 1st game, they should take advantage of Blue Devil mistakes amd miscues.

Of course, we don't know WHAT the Clay offense will look like, but I know Hawkins defenses are always pretty tough.

1st year I see a 4, maybe 5 win season, but in the following year or 2 I see them back in the winning season ways.

Henry Clay is looking for a Varsity QB coach. There may be teaching positions available to the right candidate. Para’s are also encouraged to apply.

5-5 reg season at the VERY worst.

Pulling for @coachhawk!  He has done great things wherever he has been.

Wonder if they will take part in some 7v7s.  Good place to start your rebuilding with good chemistry between QB/WR.

We will participate in EKU and Collins 7v7.

June conditioning at Henry Clay.
