The Cleveland Browns (3-11) will travel down to Cincy to take on the Cincinnati Bengals (6-8) in an AFC North battle and the first of the last 2 Bengals home games for the season. The Browns while they have only won 3 games but two of those wins have come against the Ravens and the Steelers.

On the other hand, the Bengals have 6 wins and have yet to beat a team this season with a winning record. The combined record of the 6 teams the Bengals have defeated currently stands at 19-64. The Cowboys now with 6 wins is the winningest team the Bengals have defeated. The other 5 wins have been vs. Cleveland, Titans, and Panthers each with 3 wins. The Giants and Raiders both with only 2 wins.

This game is on Fox again with a 1:00pm kick. Go Bengals! WHO DEY!!

Best tackler in the NFL. He goes low and the man goes down. Less to be learned rest of the team - stop tackling high!

  • I need to watch it again and our snapper has struggled a bit this year and last.

Brilliant to stop the clock with enough time to try that FG. That's a very not Zac Taylor move.

I went to Dick's yesterday.  I have some new thermal gear for this game!

Watching other games yesterday, it is so obvious how slow the Bengals defense is. Besides Hendrickson, the only player that makes plays that impress me athletically is Cam Taylor-Britt. DJ Turner also impresses so hopefully he is back healthy next year.

From WLWT.com on Facebook:

BREAKING: Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard is out for the season after suffering a PCL injury during Sunday's game against the Titans.

This was posted in a Who Dey Nation Facebook Group.

So, the ideal scenario for week 16 is …
1. The Bengals must beat the Browns at home or the playoff chances are over whatever else happens.
2. The Broncos and Chargers play each other, and we need one of them to lose their last three games. If it’s a tie, we can’t catch the Broncos. We could in theory still catch the Chargers if they tie.
However, it’s statistically and tactically better for us if the Broncos lose, because we have yet to play them (and we can therefore control to a greater degree what *their* record ends up being, as well as our own). The Chargers also face the Patriots and Raiders in their final two fixtures, which are hardly threatening prospects.
3. We also want the Steelers to beat the Ravens. This would mean that Pittsburgh clinch the division title by going two games ahead of Baltimore with two games left to play but with the tiebreaker because they would have swept them. So it’s more likely that they would rest starters for the final game.
4. We also therefore want the Bills to beat the Patriots at home (a good chance of this) and for the Chiefs to lose at home to the Texans (possible). This would reduce the Chiefs’ lead over the Bills to half a game with two left to play, making it more likely that the race for the AFC one seed and bye would continue until the last week, meaning that the Chiefs would have something meaningful to play for in their week 18 game against Denver at Mile High. The Chiefs face the Steelers at Three Rivers on Christmas Day and Buffalo welcome the Jets to Orchard Park on the 29th, so again it looks plausible that Buffalo can keep that going until the final day and give Denver a harder time of it.
5. A loss for either or both the Colts and Dolphins would take matters out of their hands. Indy host Tennessee and hopefully will be still affected by the Denver collapse, and having lost not only the game from a winning position when Taylor fumbled at the 1-yard line, but the Denver tiebreaker, and the division. Miami host the 49ers.
If Denver lose and Cincy wins, momentum suddenly becomes a factor going into the week 17 matchup, as well as the psychological hurdle of Denver not having made a postseason in 9 years. Think about how significant it seemed to overcome the Raiders in the 2021-2 Wild Card game and get the Bo Jackson hoodoo off our backs, and how often playoff meltdowns (like the 2015 collapse in the final two minutes against the Steelers) seemed to be inspired by the weight of history. If Denver go into the last three weeks needing only one win, and then lose the first two, and the final game is against the Chiefs given that Mahomes has a 13-1 record against the Broncos, then all the commentary in the final week will be about how the Broncos had it in their hands after the Colts game yet are on the verge of losing it.
Again, this is all very precarious, and none of it will matter if we don’t beat the Browns.

They are trying to tank the season.

Maybe they also need to know what they have in DTR.

The more you figure out in 2024, the better you should be in 2025.
