Final. Congratulations to the Shamrocks as they were the superior team tonight. For the Broncos it was a lot like the regular season game that was their downfall as they had 3 turnovers and a blocked punt in the loss. Trinity scored 14 of their 17 points off the blocked punt and the fumble on a kickoff. The big difference was the Trinity defense especially their line as they did not allow many runs of over 3 or 4 yards and Strautman was under pressure every time he went to throw. Trinity will take on Ryle next Saturday at 4:00pm for the 6A title. Good luck to both teams! Another good season for the Broncos as they finish 9-5 and made it to the state semifinals for the 6th straight season.

As expected…

Defense showed up big for Trinity tonight, once again. And just like the regular season meeting, the Rocks were able to capitalize off FD turnovers and mistakes. 

Congrats to FD on another good season. 

Amazing what Coach Cobb and his staff have done with this Trinity team considering the challenging schedule they play and the many sophomores playing on both sides of the ball. A 12-2 record, holding FD to zero points when the Broncos average 30 per game and taking the Rocks to another state championship game.
