I think football isn't a sport because Kickers don't run and tackle enough. Also, the punter isn't doing enough physical activity.

Baseball isn't a sport because people stand around a lot.

Basketball isn't a sport because the rules are to objective which makes every official terrible.

Just not enough physical activity, no real teamwork. Sure, you COULD break a sweat if it's warm out, and you COULD count caddies, or maybe partners as teammates, but it's not necessary to enjoy the game. Like I said, I'm not trying to harsh on golf (though in reality, I don't care about it), I just don't see it as a sport.

Ha, I hope your kidding. Golf is one of the hardest sports to be good at. So individual swimming is not a sport then? You dont break a sweat then probably,(only cuz of the water).

You don't move your legs from one spot to the other.

You're saying golfers don't move their legs in golf.

Tiger Woods may be one of the best 'in shape' people in the world.

Golfers have to use their legs to push off and drive the ball. That's where they generate much of their power.

Golf is a sport.

Golfers are athletes.

At least the one's that can play are athletes imo, (but I don't fit that category....golf is a hobby for me, not a profession.)
