      Not relevant to the game, but earlier this week I drove from Crittenden to Maysville via, among other thoroughfares, KY 177 and Flour Creek Road.     Those are backroads.

    Not so sure that what I said a couple of days ago about Ryle scoring 60 may not come to pass. Is it still just the first quarter?

    2nd quarter.  Ryle is a bad matchup for Simon.

    I was being nice thinking SK would play their best game of the year. Boy was I wrong. Guru was right - Ryle is in a different league than SK this year. Congrats to the Raiders on winning the district with ease.

    Sometimes you have to just say it.  I watch a lot of Kentucky high school football.  After some coaches, I would probably say more than just about anyone.  I have watched both these teams several times and I feel the vibe.  Running clock it is.  Ryle is exposing Simon Kenton in every way and like MC44 said, embarrassing for Simon Kenton.

    The Raiders do have a very solid team and if the cookie crumbles just the right way, who knows...
