Well its the battle for the #2 seed in the 5A District 6.....This is a must win game for either team with big playoff implications.

Highlands is absolutely rocking on all cylinders, outscoring their opponents the last 2 games 104-0!  Rio Litmer is probably playing his best ball flinging the pigskin without mistakes.  Rio was a perfect 7 for 7, 134 yds and 4 TDs on Friday at Boone County.

Conner comes into the game after barely getting by Dixie on Friday with a must win 35-31.  Conner is sitting on the same record as Highlands at 6-2 with the 2 losses against the same opponent that has beaten Highlands in Ryle & Cooper.  Highlands actually made those games close where Conner fell to Ryle 46-8 and Cooper 42-17.  There hasn't to be something said with Conner being at home for this competition.

Should be a fun one on Friday (maybe)....who you have??

Will Highlands make it a running clock for the 3rd straight week or will Conner keep it close?

  • I am thinking not on a running clock because of how much Conner runs the ball.  I do expect Highlands to win easily.

  • No slight. Simply saying Conner should keep it closer than many think IMO. The running qb might be able to make it a little interesting.

As always, if you can't make this matchup in Hebron, I'll be live broadcasting the action on bluebirdsradio.com for free! Live 5-10 minuets before the 7:00 kickoff.

Conner is a nice RPI bumper for the Birds. They will likely finish 7-3.

I was excited to see 859 will be livestream this game as well.

Birds by a bunch.

I think this game will be closer than most expect.

Slight to Highlands?

Conner coaching staff does a really nice job of scheming their opponents.

I think Highlands is a bad matchup for Conner.

Bird’s need to stay focused.

Not against Cooper or Ryle. Games weren't even close. Highlands will be the same

Against Ryle Hatfield didn't play QB much. He is a difference maker with the ball in his hand(mostly running).

Against Cooper they moved the ball better than most on the ground.
