Murray Tigers (5-1, 2A #5) | Crittenden County Rockets (2-3, 2A #10)

? Failure To Launch? Tigers Try To Defuse Rockets

• Common opponents: Union County and McCracken County. Murray has comfortable wins over both, while Crittenden County lost to both by four scores.
• Can the Rockets duplicate last year's Week 5 to Week 6 rebound? They cleared the cobwebs from 2023's beat down at the hands of Owensboro Catholic to best Murray by two scores. The cobwebs are back following last week's spanking by the Aces.
• It feels like a forgone conclusion that Jeremiah Jones is going to impose himself on this game in some capacity. He was tied up by the Rockets last year offensively, but shined on defense with a pick and scoop and score. He's a force on both sides of the ball and containing him for four quarters is an uphill battle.

Series History ?: Murray leads 10-4 since 1998 | Crittenden County won last year, 28-14

Crittenden County has no chance..Murray is not looking past but looking forward to the home showdown with Mayfield...Murray has some sneaky best statistics in 2A with their QB and 2 WR..also they have a really good coach that knows how to prepare his team for their opponents...

Going to be a good game here both schools got good athletes on both sides of the football. Could be a very interesting game on both sides.
