I guess I couldn't tell from the feed, but didn't Beechwood kick a field goal at the end?  I thought they had 38, but my feed was a little grainy.

They missed it but they called roughing the kicker.

Congrats to Beechwood. Are Fryman and Erdman both out for an extended period? That is a shame if so. Hopefully they can get back later in the year since there are a lot of yawners  for Beechwood after CovCath.

Injuries are piling up. CCH will be tough with all the injuries.

What happened to Chase and Luke?

Luke had his shoulder pads off from 2nd quarter on on the sideline. Chase hurt his ankle but I believe came back later on. 2A school can only loose so many playmakers and stay competitive. Good time for some of the young sophomores coming up.

About as expected.  An elite 2A squad and a middling 6A team.

Pretty good game. Hope Erdman is alright.

Thanks for that.

It was a good entertaining game. Tigers led from start to finish but the Pioneers were within striking distance the whole game. This game with Lee running the ball was good prep for Beechwood's game next week against CCH and Harney. Lee's mobility was the Pioneers offense. He is tough to keep in check.

BW QB Clay Hayden had some beautiful passes tonight. Kudos to sophomores Pabst and Arrasmith stepping in for injured players and making big plays at WR and DB.

Waddell laid some hits for BW and Schoborg did the same for SK.

Side note:

Simon Kenton has the best kettle corn. It is a must buy when you go to a game at SK.

Chase twisted his ankle, got taped up and went back in.

Luke came out after a tackle attempt in the 2nd Qtr and didn’t return with a shoulder injury. Seemed to be in high spirits and is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow morning.

Brad Lee threw foe 285 yards 3 tds and ran for 105 yards

Weaver had 8 catches 130 yards 1 td

Harris 12 catches 127 yards 1 td

Hayden was 304 yards 4 tds

Flahtery 63 yards 1 td

Cusik 8 catches 134 yards 2 tds
