At the Male/St. X game the Male announcer announced the Trinity score. That guy is so annoying if your the visitor.

Trinity got beat by a better team tonight.

Correct!

Very sloppy on Trinity's part and a lot of things to work on. But they got beat by a better team.

Really like the Center Grove QB.

On a side note, love this series and hope it continues. Only makes you better.

The 6’6 210 CG QB was dropping some dimes. Also, I do not believe we will see another receiver like McClurg. What a stud. Speed and catches everything.

CG doesn’t miss tackles or make back breaking mistakes. What an OL. Trinity could not pressure.

Trinity QB and receivers still not on the same page. Another TD drop in the third quarter for the Rocks. Trinity running game is solid. The OL will keep improving.

Trinity defense still very good against the run.

Unfortunately, this series is over. Interesting to see who Trinity will get next year. Hopefully, another home game.

Trinity falls to 1-2 versus the Trojans all-time.  I believe this series will continue as Center Grove was caught (along with Carmel) of conference shopping and their former league voted them out!

I was slightly content when the Rocks finally scored (their 360th consecutive game) after a shaky offensive beginning in this contest. Then Trinity made a little run.  It was a total team defeat. Center Grove QB had way too much time to throw. That led to many long passes (12 catches for 247 yards for best Trojans receiver). The highly regarded Shamrock DBs could not hang with Center Grove wideouts. The Trojans held Lynn in check most of the night (often double and triple teaming him). Berry ran hard for the Rocks and should get better in the not too distant future.  He'll have to get better if the Rocks are to bring home #29 in 2024.

Probably best for Carmel & CG anyway.  Conferences have no effect on playoffs in Indiana & not being in one allows you to play whoever you want.  Conferences are strange in Indiana.  There are some with as few as 4 teams & some with 12-14 teams.  Some football teams in Indiana literally are stuck only playing conference opponents every year.  Would be great if Trinity picked up both Carmel & CG; maybe even Cathedral.  They’re not in a conference either.

Trinity plays there next year to end a 4 game series, but I was told by CG fans that they're trying to broker a deal with Trinity for an additional 2 years.

Side note: Center Grove fans are the nicest and most fun people to be around as opponents.
