The Birds shutout the Camels on the road.

 

I think it’s time for BW to hang it up and spend some time with Pops at Lake Cumberland.

C’mon man. BW had a back up freshman QB playing. Guy is a great coach. Let him make some young guys better men. Jeez.

Anthrop at QB is a HUGE difference maker for Campbell County. They aren't beating Highlands with him playing, but the Camels would have made a better showing.

Camels played hard and gave a great effort.  Birds finally threw the ball to a tight end!

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but the frosh QB played only 3 or 4 snaps to start the 3rd Q before exiting the game.

Jackson (14) and Funston (25) split time at QB with Jackson taking about 75% of the snaps.

Correct, Garyn Jackson (WR/S) and Blake Funston (RB/S) stepped in with a week of prep to handle QB for the Camels.  

The frosh QB for Campbell was knocked out with concussion after playing just a few plays.  
Those that think Highlands walked through this game better go watch the film.  Campbell had ball inside the 20 three times and turned ball over.  Liked what I saw from Highlands offense last night, defense is another story.  Still work to be done in that area.

Thanks. I can see game stats now. Campbell County had to move their top receiver in to play QB with their top 2 QB's sidelined. Again, Campbell County isn't beating Highlands even with their top players in the game, but Campbell County was woefully undermanned on offense last night.

Pitched a shutout, and forced 7 turnovers. Seems like I'm missing something....

Any info on the JV game?

Birds won big. Last I heard was 44-8
