Just watched the game. Only 1 FG by Beechwood in the 1 quarter. Don’t think teams usually kick FG’s during 10 play format. As an example, Ryle threw a pick in the end zone on their 10th play from the 9 yard line.
 

Might be getting confused with their extra points.

 

Ok you are right.  Ryle fans go ahead and keep thinking you won a “scrimmage’.  Maybe you can come to Lexington in December and watch Beechwood play in a real game.

Sorry you can’t accept that one team had more points, but it’s a fact. Don’t think it means much to either team.

I have the play chart if you want me to break it down even further. I can tell you what happened on every play in the scrimmage. The whole scrimmage including all 40 plays that were run before they ran timed play. Beechwood won 20-14.

But honestly, so what. It is scrimmage one. Both teams are working on things. Both teams played different players, ran different plays, experimented with players and plays. Did things in situations they wouldn't do in a real game. Two hand touch on the QB. No special teams returns. It's not that important to get all caught up in the score. Overall, I would say it was a pretty even matchup. 

You know it’s football season when there is a big debate on who won a scrimmage. ?
