There are 8 NL teams with 46-49 wins. Every win is important. Reds need to keep getting healthy, get more stability in the daily lineup and batting order. They have the bullpen and rotation pretty well set. Get Friedl back and hopefully healthy the rest of the way.

Friedl

India

Elly

Steer

Candelario

Rece Hinds has played 6 Games with 22 official at bats with 11 hits and 5 of those have been homers and 9 of his 11 total hits has been extra base hits. He is hitting .500 11 for 22 and has 5 homers and 11 RBI's and his OPS is 1.951 his slugging is 1.409 and his WAR is .7.

That is some impressive statistics!

Somebody explain why Hinds is batting behind Fraley and Marte!!!!

Oh yeah, goofBell makes out the lineup

It's working for him, I'd probably want to leave him alone for now too.

Sometimes less managing is better than over managing. If a batter is hot why screw anything up?

How often do you change your lineup? Do you rearrange your lineup today because of what happened yesterday and/or the day before? If your lead off hitter goes 0-8 over the previous two games, do you drop him to #7 in the lineup?

I'll add this. As Hinds has been destroying the ball and breaking records, the player whose Reds records Hinds has been breaking for a fast start is Chris Dickerson. Perspective. Six games do not make a career and they don't change a lineup. Dickerson hit 4 or 5 HR's in his first few games. He then lasted 7 years in MLB and hit a total of 66 HR's.
