The park was absolutely gorgeous. The design, both aesthetically and with the use of the available space is absolutely stunning. Our view from behind home plate was nothing short of breathtaking. 

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and the home fans we met were all so friendly.

Kudos to the city of Pittsburgh. They used to call the old Yankee Stadium the cathedral of MLB. I think PNC Park has taken over that role. 

It was well worth the drive even though our Cincinnati Reds fell short. I would 100% make the drive again.

That, in and of itself is worth double the price of admission.   Looking out to the Clemente, Warhol and Carson Bridges is stunning.

Reds led 2-1 with 1 out for the Pirates in the bottom of the 9th.

Reds win 2-1.   Game took just over 2 hours.   Haven't seen a game that quick in quite a while.

Reds and Pirates play an afternoon game tomorrow with first pitch at 12:35pm.

I don't recall. That was actually about 15 years ago when we talked about that but I was surprised too. That is why his comment stuck in my mind.

Reds lose today and the series their 2nd straight series lost. They fall today 1-0 to the Pirates. Next up they start a 3-game series at home vs. the Boston Red Sox's. First pitch on Friday is 7:10pm.

Wasted another good Hunter Greene outing. I think I saw he has a 1.50 ERA in 6 starts against Pittsburgh...and an 0-4 record.
