Reds at Pirates (6/17 - 6/19)

Featured Replies

Both teams come into this series with identical 34-37 records and 8 games back.

Reds trail 2-1 and the game is still in the bottom of the first. Of course tonight with the Cats on in the MCWS the Reds game is on FS1.

Reds HAVE to be the WORST base running team in baseball, it’s just ridiculous how many mistakes they make running the bases!!

Reds could do nothing vs. rookie Paul Skenes who only allowed only 1 run of just 6 hits and had 7 K's.

Absolutely love PNC Park.   By far the most gorgeous stadium in MLB.

I was texting with my buddy and his exact quote was "Dude this park is beautiful."

And not from the game tonight but my nephew pitches for the "Pirates" in Lexington and I thought this thread was a good place for a shout out.

He also had all this to say on Facebook:

I truly can’t say enough great things about PNC Park and the Pittsburgh Pirates fans and staff.

The park was absolutely gorgeous. The design, both aesthetically and with the use of the available space is absolutely stunning. Our view from behind home plate was nothing short of breathtaking.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and the home fans we met were all so friendly.

Kudos to the city of Pittsburgh. They used to call the old Yankee Stadium the cathedral of MLB. I think PNC Park has taken over that role.

It was well worth the drive even though our Cincinnati Reds fell short. I would 100% make the drive again.

I have a friend who has been to every MLB park. He says Comerica Park in Detroit is his pick as best ballpark.
