The Cleveland Guardians come south to take on the Reds in the battle of Ohio for a short two game series. Go Reds!

Reds led 1-0 going to the bottom of the 2nd inning.

The Guardians get 3 runs in the top of the 3rd and now led 3-1.

Reds cut it to a 3-2 Guardian led after 6 innings.

One more and Cleveland is up 5-3 in the 9th.

Cleveland steals 2 homeruns in the first, a guy takes a 100mph fastball off the helmet in the ninth and some drunk college kid gets tased after running on the field.   All and all, my daughter's straight A tickets were entertaining.

Reds lose the first one of the series 5-3. They will go for the split tonight at 7:10.

Here’s an interesting aside.  I attended the first ever interleague game. Reds vs. Indians at Jacobs Field.
