January 26, 200719 yr I think the Murray State game is terrible. If UofL wants to gain some national respect they should have agreed to take a better game even if it was a one shot deal on the road. I'm sure a number of powerhouse teams would have agreed to that. I agree they should have tried at least for a 2 for 1 deal against a football power. Then UL would get more respect. There is a chance they could be this year's Boise State with that schedule, undefeated with no title.
January 26, 200719 yr BCS schools keep backing out against us, like Georgia Tech and Vandy, and it gets tough filling the holes. Have they tried LSU, Florida, Auburn, or Arkansas?
January 26, 200719 yr If you do a 2 for 1 you better be ready to do them the next 5-10 years because these other guys ain't stupid, they need just as much money as we do. Boise State has been doing 2 for 1's and no rematch games against BCS schools for a decade and it hasn't helped them as far as scheduling goes. Everybody still says they don't play anybody.
January 26, 200719 yr I thought they were supposed to look like that THIS year... No matter what you want to think, the schedule works AGAINST UK. Louisville will have had two tuneup games, but will have been gameplanning for the Cats the whole time. There's no Miami on the OOC schedule this year to dilute that gameplanning attention, either. Until BE play starts, UK is the season. Not to mention the fact that UK will probably be ranked by the third week of the season so they won't be sneaking up on Louisville. So, is it safe to assume that we'll see the ever popular vanilla game plan prior to the UK game....:lol: Sorry, I had to. I really don't expect UK to beat U of L this year...but at least this time I think we have a chance, which is more than they've had in recent memory. Good luck next season. :thumb:

As has been mentioned, Louisville may very well face 4 ranked opponents, 3 of them on the road. Besides, Louisville is in a BCS conference. If Louisville makes it through undefeated, and is one of only two or the only one, they'll make the title game.

Come on brother....the coaches do an outstanding job of keeping this team focused...and with a healthy Brian Brohm, the Cats have about a 5% chance of winning. If an entire fan base is overconfident, there's a good chance the team is overconfident. The coaches can talk until they are blue in the face, but it will still be hard to respect a team that you have been killing lately. 20-1 underdogs? Hardly. I'd say about a 35-40% chance.
