January 27, 200719 yr I know for a flaming fact that is not true about Harris. Even if he did 'start' a few early he was pulled pretty durn quick. He didn't own the position till late last year. I was wrong about Sharp (who moved around on position, that's what messed me up) and Quarterman, but not Gay or Foster. I know Foster missed for injury, but he still wasn't a starter last year. And Gay started off and on. I guess UL's media guide is wrong then.

January 27, 200719 yr As I've said before, I avoid using their stats as much as possible, they're frequently broken. However, it is still accurate to say that Nate Harris was not a consistant starter at MLB this season, as Lamar Myles started several times over him.

Since, that's the case, let me ask you this, how do we (as fans) come to a conclusion about this upcoming season...put all things aside (from last season), U of L has better players all across the spectrum than UK.....Kentucky's ONLY advantage is homefield...I bet that doesn't bode well... As far as Louisville on the road, they are 23-11 on the road in the last 5 seasons, this senior class is 15-5 on the road...and they are undefeated against UK.... 15-5 on the road is not good with their schedule...BAD ROAD LOSSES. Undefeated against UK doesn't guarantee a win next season, as 99% of the people know...Better players across the spectrum is stupid.

Really let's go through them, I bet there is only one bad road loss (relative, in actuality, at Louisville's level, all losses are bad).. 2004 - Miami - they moved up in the polls as they were dominant for as long as they could be in this one 2005 - USF - awful, awful loss, the Cards were completely exposed. - WVU - 3OT - tough loss, but to the eventual Big East winner who offensively destroyed the SEC's very best. - VaTech - without Brian, Louisville dominated for 3 quarters, but then Bush got hurt as well....not a bad loss. 2006- RUTGERS - they lose out on the NC by a field goal, to a team that finished the season in the top 15.... My football knowledge seems to be improving, thanks for the help

I like Brown, think he's a great team guy on top of being a good OLB in Louisville's scheme. He's also an OLB/SS tweener that obviously wasn't considered irreplacable heading into the biggest game in Louisville history. That's my point, and that's my point with a lot of these guys.
