He's also an OLB/SS tweener that obviously wasn't considered irreplacable heading into the biggest game in Louisville history. That's my point, and that's my point with a lot of these guys. I defer to you. You know UL much better than I. We shall see if it matters next year, but you and RP seem to think the defense will be better despite losing many key contributors.

Louisville's offensive line lost two of its best hogmollies (Spitz and Leffew) in decades last season and got better. Louisville's defensive line lost a major award winner (Dumervil) and a big time hole filler (Stanley) last season to the draft and got better in both pass rushing and stopping the run. As far as I know, Louisville's defense is losing one first round draft pick, MAYBE two first day picks. Probably not. Those sort of losses do not prevent teams from reloading and getting better.
