Not a flash hire, but a good hire. I think this will pay off in a big way for Louisville. Let's be real though, anyone would be better than Kenny Payne.

    You gotta love that guy Deuce. I am a UL fan but not close to the fan you are and I am excited about this hire. I will be shocked if he doesn't have UL winning next year. He will find a way.

    I'm very excited. Cautiously optimistic still, but excited. 

    He's seemingly the jolt of energy the program needs, and it seems like he just gets it. That's cliche, but it's the truth. He addressed all the elephants in the room, with confidence, which I think was awesome. He knows what Louisville Basketball has been and what it should be and is not shying away from it. 

    During the players meeting yesterday, one of them was obviously not paying attention, PK stopped and said to him "You're going to look at me when I'm talking to you." Immediately instilling the discipline he requires, that has been absent for two years. 

    Press conferences don't win games, but you won't find a better first day than that.
