DevilMayCare
Final from Flemingsburg. Offensive explosion for the Royals (17-10) behind Braeden Myrick, who came in averaging 7 ppg, but splashed several threes. I don't know his final tally, but he at least tripled his average and then some. The Panthers (20-8) were without the services of leading scorer Seth Hickerson. mcpapa
Anyone else just a little surprised by this result? Although a key player out for Fleming does help explain.

The margin is definitely surprising. But I have had people tell me they think the Royals are a better team now than they were a month or so ago. They had all the momentum coming in and Mason hadn't sniffed an offensive output like this in a month.

DevilMayCare
Mason's arithmetic has allowed kids like Myrick an opportunity to shine. He had 33 points tonight.
