The 39th District basketball tournament will also now be seeded started next season. The athletic directors of Bracken County, Mason County, and Augusta voted to seed. St. Patrick voted against it.

Not to be harsh, but not much difference in the current format.  They haven't been there since 2009, which is their only appearance since 2002.  They haven't been all that close most years, 2018 and 2014 being notable exceptions in that time. 

Well now Mason will have to play the other 3 district teams at least once in the regular season. I was looking at their schedule this season they do not play anyone from the 39th district.

They were supposed to play Augusta, but the Panthers cancelled that one to get under the games limit since they made a run in the All A. 

Going to be tough for Augusta with the loss of Snapp to what appears to be a season ending knee(?) injury against Calgary Christian.  Panthers were only 6 before his loss.

I believe it was an ankle...also per a discussion with his mother, he may be back for districts. 

Teams will play once for seeding.  If they play twice, only the first game will count towards seeding.  Tie-break has not been decided yet, but some options are RPI, Cantrell, Head-to-Head, etc.

That would be very good news.  On a team that regularly is only six deep, this warrior would be really missed.
