Defensive tackle would very much be in play for me if I was the Bengals. They need an interior pass rush, and where they are picking they could possibly get a good one. Obviously after free agency tho

If T doesn't get a long term contract, it will be because T doesn't want to be in Cincinnati. With the increase in the salary cap, the money is there for a long term deal.

  • Word now is that he's signing a 1 year deal with the Bengals.

The Bengals could catch fire at the right time and go on a 2021 type run... but it would take a lot of things to go right. The good news for them is that 7th spot is up for grabs in the AFC race. Denver appears to be the biggest challenger and they face them head-to-head soon. I'll be watching the Bengals in Nashville in December. Hope they go on a miracle run.

As a diehard I would love a miracle run but I would rather look to 2025 and beyond.

I think you are being too kind.  I think the picture should show when the tornado hit the junky home and the overhang smashed the fancy car.

I am the typical Bengals fan.  With media speaking on the highly unlikely path to the playoffs for the Bengals, I will watch the Steelers game in a spirit of hope and anticipation.  If my hopes are dashed once again, I will go through the 5 stages of grief (Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance) and wait for the next game.  If the Bengals win, the ante goes up as they go take on the Cowboys.  If they win that, I will be on such a high that I will suggest to my wife that we go take a road trip to Nashville for the Titans game.  The process continues until the Bengals either reach the playoffs or are eliminated (in which case I start thinking about draft position and the state of the roster for next year).   If it is truly the latter, I might find myself on the roof of my house which, with my luck, would be snow covered and slippery.

That reminds me, I heard Wildman Walker sing with a band recently.wildman.jpg

The Week 16 Broncos at Chargers game will move to Thursday Night Football on Prime Video while the Browns at Bengals matchup will be played Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on FOX, the NFL announced today.

That was quick, the NFL is sticking a fork in the Bengals.

Yep, that actually works better for me to have this game on the following Sunday.

Same, I much prefer Bengals games at 1pm on Sunday.

Maybe for the Bengals too.  NFL teams despise Thursday night games because of how it affects their planning and travel.

We used to hear them complain about it a lot but not much anymore.  I assume the NFL came down on the teams/players and told them to shut their pie holes.

The Bengals waived WR Trenton Irwin & signed LB Shaka Heyward off the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

On a side note, a friend of mine recently sat next to Shaka on a plane ride.  My buddy said he was great, humble, smart, took some pictures with people, etc.  Congrats Shaka!
