He was at Lloyd and Turpin before he ended up at Cooper. Fairly sure Lloyd was no more than one year ...Turpin was at least a 2 to 3 years. Then Cooper ... you are correct on the return to Beechwood in 2016.

He coached with Rob Stoll at Turpin am I correct?

Coach Burnett has rejoined the coaching staff at Cooper. Great get by the Jags.

Let go or retired? I had heard during the season that this might be his last year coaching. There was some special recognition he received towards the end of the regular season at a couple of games. T

Did Cooper have an opening or is Burnett that highly thought of, that it was a no brainer to have him back on staff? He seems highly regarded as a coach, so it seems like a bad choice by the new HC at Beechwood.

Coach B was a huge asset to the Cooper program his first time through. There were a lot of young coaches on staff (myself included) that really just tried to absorb everything he said. Glad that he is back with the Jags! Hopefully he can help them finish the job this year and bring home a title!

Good OL coaches are hard to find. He is an excellent OL coach. I’m sure he could pick any number of jobs.
