30 for 30 about to start on ESPN about Reggie obviously. I know there are many football dudes on this board and in the forum particularly, so you’ll understand my excitement for this one. I’ll admit I dig most of the 30 for 30s. I think they’re well done. But of all the players in my lifetime that weren’t on my fave squad, Reggie and Barry were the only 2 that I made sure if it was watchable I watched it. It’s my opinion that Reggie is the greatest defensive football player I ever watched.

Excited to see it!

DVR for me and I am interested to hear what everyone thinks about it.

Starting it now. I think many forget just how young Reggie was when he passed (43).

Yep. That Eagles team, while it underperformed, was a really fun team. They used to hold training camp where I went to college and we spent many days in the summer watching camp and hanging out with the players at night in the bars. I met and hung out with Golic, Seth Joyner, Ben Smith and the dude who was the most fun, Jim Mcmahon. While Reggie and Randall didn't partake in the night life, we did see them all around campus, and Reggie was a humble, kind dude. And absolute Giant.

Well it was well done. Glad I spent the time to watch it

I missed the first 20 minutes or so, but I watched the rest of the two hour show.  I enjoyed it.  I also forgot how young he was when he passed.  I also can't believe that it was 2004.  Time flies.  It was interesting to see a Patriots Super Bowl where Tom Brady was not the QB.

The early '90s Eagles is the reason I became a lifelong fan. Used to love rooting against the Cowboys and so I latched on to them. I'm not a diehard any longer, but have always had mad respect for the franchise.

Rooting against the Cowboys.  We could be brothers from another mother.
