Final from Frankfort. 

Boyle, as everyone has known all year, will be very hard to deal with. Franklin, in my opinion, were underrated and as good as PT and CovCath. 

Franklin Co. had a great season, but I think they lose to all three PT, CC and obviously Boyle.  Play really good defense, has a nice run game with big #24 and QB but passing game very limited. 

This game could have been made a bit more interesting with a small thing or two the flyers way. FC could not  finish 3-4 times deep in Boyle territory. Boyle was the better team! I look for them to win big in the title game. FC couldn’t get a call that was for sure… not sure they would have won with a call or two.. but it could have sure made it tight. 

Outside of a shootout with LCA (a program that always plays them well) in August the Rebels have held every team they've played to 21 and under. Many of the points have come against the 2nd string. So much attention gets paid to the offense because of their sensational athletes. There's no doubt it is fun to watch players like Tavey or Brown juke and outrun everyone on the other team, but this Rebel Defense has been equally impressive all year long.

Total domination!!

Franklin County was out-classed. Throwing prayers downfield hoping for a big play or a DPI is not going to beat a team the caliber of Boyle County.

Out-classed?  Come on man!  You can put it a better way than that.  The best team won but when you fall behind you have to line up and throw the ball.  Rebels just had great coverage all night on Hurst.  That dropped TD by the Flyers early really hurt any momentum they had going.  Great season Flyers and a great 4 yr run Seniors.  Hope Boyle Co wins it all.  Back to work Flyers!!  The community is behind you.

Yes. Boyle County was in a different class than FC last night. It was pretty obvious. I mentioned in the pre-game that they had had very little competition over the last month, and that showed. They weren't ready for Boyle County, mostly because of what Boyle County was doing.

Not ready at ALL!!!  And Franklin isn't bad... Boyle is just different.  The State game was a week ago (Boyle v Corbin). We should have awarded Boyle the trophy and then let Franklin, Corbin, Cov Cath and PT battle for 2nd.

FC, not quite to the top yet! there is not anyone I know affiliated or playing for the team that I know looking for any consolation prizes, or approval on the level class our Flyers have. Class commentsin my experience are for losers, and for those who have no skin in the game. 
I am proud of the Flyers. 6 freshman and sophomores started on this team, two of them on the interior defensive line. 2 more in the secondary, another one at Center, and alot. Our qb moved to town and was previously a JV player as a junior. They were able to have a pretty good season. Their Journey came to an end with losing to what most people call the best team in the entire state.
