February 17, 200719 yr Just saw my first hyenas at the waterhole. Couldn't tell if they were laughing.
February 17, 200719 yr There's a hyena in the water hole. There were two of them. One was just lying there in the mud for a while. Then he got up and they started to stroll over toward a herd of wildebeest. They kept stopping and looking back over their shoulders. Looked like they were waiting for reinforcements to show up. None did, and they wandered off to the left and out of view.

February 17, 200719 yr Where are they at I've been watching for about 5 minutes and couldn't see anything. They left about ten minutes ago. But keep watching. This is the prime animal spotting time. Looks like they're getting another thundrer shower. Had one last night (their time) as well.
