Two drive killing penalties by TE #84, really killed any chance at early momentum for the offense in the first half.

Add in a couple of drops by receivers and then some overthrows by QB and you get the mess that was that first half on offense.

Special teams gave up blocked punt but they also set up the only score for UK with a huge punt return.

EKU ball first in second half, D needs a quick stop and then the offense needs to play with a quicker pace in the 2nd half.

You guys were right because this is ugly.

10 to 7 EKU in the 3rd, wow.

Cats get a TD on 13 yard touchdown pass from Leary to Brown. The extra point is good the Cats get a little breathing room and now lead 21-10 with 1:47 left to play in the 3rd quarter.

Judging by last week’s 66-13 EKU loss to Cincinnati I surmise that UK is in trouble this year. Games with Alabama and Georgia are going to be ugly!! For the Cats, anyway.

Colonels answer back on a pass from McKinney to Slone to make it 21-17 Cats. The Colonels will not go away.

Another touchdown pass for Leary this time to Davis for 24 yards the extra point is good to make it 28-17 Cats with 8:08 to play.
