This game will finally be something different for Hazard. After seeing tough hard nosed running teams like Bell County, Martin County, and Harlan County, they will see Paris who will spread them out and throw it. The secondary hasn’t been tested much so I look for it to be in this one.

Paris is coming in the game w a Freshman QB Julius "JuJu" Gregory...He's the first freshman QB starter to start the opening game in 115 yrs of Paris football...Senior Jakari Ransom and Jr Elijah Webb are leading an offense that is Avg 53 points a game...The Greyhounds defense is anchored by #1 tackler in Class A DE Preston Cowan and Sr Defense lineman Ziyan Webb...Hounds have been stingy holding Frankfort scoreless and Paintsville to 12. Defense is fast and aggressive...Hazard is a quality opportunity for Paris to put the state on notice if they play anywhere like they have the first 2 games. Hazard will have to try and control the game on the ground because they can't go score for score w the Hounds..Too many athletes.

Ju-ju is actually the 2nd. Aaron Maggard started 4 years at Qb. He played 2014-2017. He played 5 years at Georgetown College. Rob Maggard is his dad. He was the qb for Paris during the undefeated championship seasons of 81-82. The streak ended at 38 games which at the time was the longest in the nation.

You are correct about the younger Maggard...My son Je'Kobi Wells caught his passes.

Frederick got hurt in Paris' preseason finale against Bracken County, which is the reason the freshman is starting.
