In probably the strangest game in recent memory, John Hardin and Hancock County finished 4 quarters without either team scoring. The game was decided in overtime with Hancock County pulling off an overtime win, 6-0.

John Hardin will open up play at home on a new Turf field and ongoing construction on student bleachers.

The talent level increases for John Hardin this week with a tough matchup with Green County.

Green County QB Houston Hodges threw for 104 yards and the backfield duo of Gage Bale and Jullian Seymour combined for 273 yards on the ground last week vs Garrard County.

John Hardin needs to find some offense with sophomore RB Austin Richardson and Cavalli Pitman.

Green County has too much firepower on offense and should be able to walk away from John Hardin in this game.

Green County 34- John Hardin 12

He is. The steps taken forward by the junior and freshman class that are now seniors and sophomores has been a big one, along with the development of QB Hodges, would have made it fun to see what this

John Hardin breaks a big run down to the 27 and then are stuffed and kick a 27 yard field goal. Dragons lead 6-3, still in the first.

Seymour breaks a big run for the dragons to the house, and the dragons get the 2 point conversion and lead 14-3.

I think JH is probably improved from last year I don’t know if it’s enough to win this game but I think they can keep it from being a total blowout.

Green had a decent showing last Friday. I'm gonna go Green 42 JH 14

I’m not sure what to expect from this game. The Dragons would most likely be the favorite on paper, but I’m not sure they are.

The Dragons have issues stopping a big physical back and teams that run it right at them, which is exactly what John Hardin is going to do. If they control the clock and get a few stops in this game, I think they could win this ball game.

The Dragons need to establish the run and hit some big passes over the top of the defense and win in the trenches. if they do that, give me the Dragons with a 34-21 type game.

The Dragons are blessed with two great backs in Seymour and Bale, who both had big roles last year and are going to step right into that role and keep it running well.

From the film I've seen Green Did better then I had expected on the run. The line looks better then last year. Milby and houlk are beast. Shivley supprised me more then all of them. That kid was everywere.

Looks as if they were saving both McKinney and Seymour. Seymour didn't get the touches but did make good on one run for TD. McKinney showed what he plans on doing all year. <showing up 110%>

I think Green runs away with this game. Hopefully get the starters some rest for tougher games ahead.

Green County receives the kickoff and promptly drives down the field and puts it in for the score. Dragons miss the extra point and lead 6-0 in the first.
