It’s mind boggling how a team like Taylor can’t get it together. Entirely too much talent on that team to be playing like they are. 

Taylor is undisciplined and the play calling is terrible. You have athletes every where on the field and they run the bone offense. It’s absolutely insane to me to see them be this bad with that much talent.

3 Division one players in their starting lineup, so yeah its pretty rough. QB has been the issue to cost that group every season

Taylor was in Mercer territory and had 3rd and 1…..went to shotgun formation QB sack…with 3 solid RBs…bad coaching decision.  Mercer scored then Taylor had to pass, deflected oick six.

That 3rd and 1 call was unbelievable.

Don’t give Mercer any credit. 

Talent ain’t enough. Boy howdy this was hard to watch. 

Mercer is a tough football team and I would say the favorite to win their district.  Very physical team.  QB looked good and the McKinney kid on defense was a handful.  I agree with GC-Dragons, Taylor should be much better than what they showed tonight.

Mercer deserves plenty of credit. #61 on defense was awesome, QB very athletic, love the throwback pass TD, and Ratchford (?) looks like a great two-way player. But that 3rd and 1 call was galactically stupid.

Yep.  They were moving the ball at will.

First off, congrats to Mercer. They played hard, and wanted this game and it showed.

 
Now as a bystander watching from the stands, this Taylor team started this season the same way it ended last year, with an ugly performance. The Taylor faithful won’t be happy with this result.
