This is the first time that Douglass has been shut out in the first half of a game since their first game as a school in 2017 when they lost to 2A state champ that year Danville. They ended up losing that game 36-0.

This is also one of the best teams Douglass has ever played.

Going back to the running clock in Ohio. I remember this from a few years ago. We played a team in Cinci and did not know the rules differed from Kentucky. I know...rookie mistake. We jumped out to a 36 point lead at half and starting subbing out kids early in the 3rd. Well the team starting coming back and we barely won. As soon as they got within 30 points the clock stopped running.

Not saying this will happen here but there is a chance still. Even though it's small.

Douglas also lost a lot of talent. I think it's the combination of the two.

For sure!  But if I was a coach I assure you I would know the rule.
