Developing Situation: LeBron

We've got a situation brewing...

Dillon Brooks is going to make me root for LeBron...

Brooks is the worst. That whole team, lead by Ja, is unbearable.

Players that have to live up to a shtick grate on my nerves. Pat Bev is a champion of this way of playing. Brooks to me is more of just a bad guy, in the same vein as Draymond.

We'll see what he says after LeBron drops 50 in Game 3.

... Which he could. To his credit, when pressed like this LeBron does a good job of not overdoing it and still plays within the flow of the game. Almost to at fault at times where he becomes over analytical about it.

I'm interested to see how he responds. The anti-LeBron in me says Jordan and Kobe would never let this slide. 😎

And i took that personally - Imgflip

That is a fact.... but in their prime. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be surprised is Bron goes for a career night on Saturday, however I wouldn't necessarily expect it out of him. It has appeared that this year more than ever he has gained trust in his others guys (Davis, Reaves, Hatchiumura, etc.) to make plays, and he hasn't seemed to ball-dominant this series, however I could see that change in LA on Saturday night.

I agree with that. I think LeBron is mature enough now not to go rogue just to prove Dillon Brooks wrong.

Maybe it is a commentary on today's "look at me culture," but I don't think another player would dare say that about MJ. I'm talking more last year or two of Jordan in Chicago, which is more on par with where LeBron is. Not talking ceremonial Jordan in Washington. There has never been than that level of reverence for LeBron.

I think that’s mostly because LeBron has never (IMO) shown that killer instinct that Jordan and Kobe often showed.
